The Journey Begins

Birth and death is a natural process. Don’t be afraid to live today.

It did start yesterday, it may end tomorrow.

What I live is in this moment!

It begins again, still continues at this moment

It is lived in this moment

This moment is all I have, passes with a blink of an eye

Passes with each breath I breathe

If this is all I have

Why don’t I make it at this moment?

Why do I wait for tomorrow?

Why do I rely on tomorrow?

Why do I grief about yesterday?

Right now…

I open my heart and accept myself

I reach to my soul and awaken my spirit

I tickle my belly and absorb this feeling

I breathe in deep and breathe out slow

I laugh a little more and cry a little less

I smile ear to ear today

I forgive myself for not realizing it until now

I forgive you for not making it count

I love myself for who I am

I love you for who you think you are

I feel for the world In pain and in hunger

For more and less

For all my dreams and my aspirations

I choose my thoughts now and begin to act

In this moment which is all I have

Because if I don’t then this moment will look the other way

Because if not now then when?
