New York City is a magnificent place to visit

One of the greatest tourist areas in the world is New York City. The Statue of Liberty is an attraction that most people see and enjoy when they visit. Many people take the boat ride over to Ellis Island to see the Statue up close. It has been a welcoming sight for all. It is an inspiration for the residents as well.

The past year of the COVID pandemic has wreaked havoc on the tourism industry. People have not been traveling as they have been advised to stay at home to keep everyone safe. Places like New York City have taken a big hit. Besides the economic problems of the pandemic, people have not been able to enjoy and take part in the many entertainment features of New York City, such as the arts and the theater district of Broadway. We have put life on hold.

Although COVID and political concerns have caused problems for New York City, it seems nearly ready to resume some type of normalcy. It will be a huge relief for many when they get back to where they were before the pandemic hit the world.

So many people have missed the live theater, which is usually available in abundance with many theaters normally having nightly performances. Tourists and locals alike will be eager for the theaters to get back to normal. They also provide employment for thousands of people in the city. The restaurants are also an outstanding feature of New York City.

New York City will once again be a tourist destination.
