Street Festivals Are A Part Of Summer Fun

They are held in neighborhoods

Streets may be closed for the day when they hold the festivals

There have been various street festivals held in many cities throughout the Summer months. Residents gather for fun, entertainment, food, and information. There are normally various craft booths as well as information booths from companies and government agencies.

Food is usually a major part of the festivals. There could be food booths or food trucks available to sell food to the patrons. People enjoy walking around to visit the various booths and see the entertainment which is provided at various venues throughout the festival area.

A makeshift stage may be produced by using a trailer brought in for the purpose of entertainment. Local talent performs to entertain the audience.

There are sometimes unusual features at the street festivals such as this large, gray animal being pushed around and controlled by a human accompanying him. He stopped to visit with children and adults as they wanted to take photos with him.

People enjoy gathering during the warm weather of Summer and attending events such as street festivals.

Street festivals and street fairs provide an opportunity for people in the area to visit various neighborhoods and for the people who live there to enjoy a festive event close to home.
