This might feel obvious to some, however, I had trouble running my machine learning codes when I switched from solely using Spyder to using Intellij IDE. I was introduced to ML using Anaconda …

Turn your imagination into real design with Medjourney

Behavior rules
Do not use our tools to create images that may be provocative, offensive or dramatic.

This includes gore and adult content.
Be respectful of others and the group.

Make sure you are familiar with the Full Content Guidelines. By using our Bot, wherever you do so, you agree to these guidelines and our Terms of Service. You can also find more details about the official Midjourney Discord server in the #rules, #faq, #announcements and #status channels.
Create your first image
Once you start using our tool, you’ll be able to create a limited number of images before you need to register. You will have about 25 free uses of the /imagine command or other requirements (variations, upgrades). These usages are also known as “jobs” or “GPU-minutes”.
Did you use the Discord server where our Midjourney Bot was installed? If yes, go to step 1.

Don’t see any #newbies channels?
If you’re using the official Midjourney Discord servers and don’t see them yet, try restarting your Discord app.
Also, you may not be on the official server. It is good!
You can also create an image using our tool on another host that invites and configures the Midjourney Bot:
read the manual or ask more experienced users to direct you to one of the Bot channels on this server. You can also add bots to your own server by following the instructions here. 2. Use the command /image
To use the Midjourney Bot, use the Discord Slash command in the Bot channel, such as #newbies-1. Start typing /imagine and you’ll notice something appear above your text.
Click or tap the /image option:
the prompt field will be created and now you can add whatever you want the bot to generate as you can see in the video below.
Be sure to follow our content and moderation policy:
keep it PG-13 and avoid messing up the image. This is always necessary no matter where you use the Bot.

You can also try pressing the spacebar, tab, or enter key to create a prompt field. Bot slash commands will only work in bot channels. Typing /imagine won’t work in regular channels such as #trial-support.
When you’re satisfied with the prompt you just wrote, press enter or send your message. This will forward your request to the Midjourney Bot, which will soon start generating your image.

Requests take a minute to generate four options based on your prompt.

After creating a 2x2 image grid, two rows of buttons will appear:

In the top row:
U1, U2, U3 and U4 are the buttons to adjust the selected image ratio. Scaling the image will produce a larger 1024x1024 pixel version of the selected image. By default, this will also create additional details.
In the bottom row:
V1, V2, V3 and V4 are buttons that allow to create variations of the selected image. Creating variations creates four new images, similar in style and general layout to the image you selected.

After using the U button to scale up, you’ll have a few more options:

Make Variations does the same thing as the V nodes, creating new alternatives in a grid.
Upscale to Max upscales the image to an even larger resolution around 1664x1664. Light Upscale Perform re-expand, start over without adding much detail.
Using these buttons will also use up some of your 25 free jobs. To check how many uses you have left, use the /info command the same way you used /imagine.

You can click on the image to open it in full size, then right-click and select Save Image to save it to your local computer. If you’re on a mobile phone, you can tap the image and then tap the download icon () in the top right corner.
Your scaled image (and 2x2 grid image) will immediately show up in your site gallery at midj’s.com/app (you need to sign in with Discord.
6. Send results to your DM (direct message)
You can ask the Midjourney Bot to send you a direct message from Discord containing your final results. To do this, react with the envelope emoji() to one of the bot’s messages containing the completed build. This works with both single scaled image and 2x2 grid as shown below.

Your 25 free jobs have not expired yet but will not be renewed either. Once you have used all of them, you can use /subscribe in any Bot channel to purchase subscriptions. Follow the link created by Midjourney to access your registration page. For pricing and more information, you can visit Billing and licensing.

If you’re a paid subscriber, you can use the bot in your direct messages instead of a public channel with others. Images created in your direct message are still subject to content and moderation rules and will show up on your Midjourney website gallery.
