Deal or No Deal is complicated yet simple once you have all the info as to the odds and the human emotion factor involved. Consider the different ways to figure the odds like only 6 cases have amounts of 200 k or more and 20 with a lot less so when you pick your case the odds are against you that you will pick a case of 200k or more and only 3 with 500k or more so most likely you will pick a case of small amount so just remember that. Then you look at statistics of actual finished games and only a few have taken the bankers highest offer with a large percentage ending up with a lot less and thats due to the Howie pushing human buttons that people want to believe that their case contains the big one when like I sald the odds are your case contains a small amount. Another thing that people get wrong is if there are 2 cases left of 1 dollar and 1 million dollars its not 50/50 chance its still 1 in 26 that your case contains the big one. The expectation when playing the game should not be of winning 1 million dollars but realistically lowered to be if you are offered anything over 100,000 consider taking it depending on the cases that are left and very few people are offered over 200,000 and even less at higher amounts so the average payout is less than 100,000 so be happy with that. One person had the 1 million case and a real small case left and was offered 400 thousand and turned it down and their case was the small so they went home with nothing. With the crowd yelling and most people dont research the odds correctly it was a successful show for the Network and Howie made millions.
