Day 65 of 💯: Welcoming the city folk into our tight-knit community was causing some growing pains, but an innovative solution eased the situation.

The turnout for the town meeting was standing room only for the first time in anyone’s memory. After the wars and plagues and revolutions quieted, the great urban exodus has plunged our quiet village into turmoil, doubling our size in less than a year. The newcomers don’t understand our ways, don’t understand our customs, don’t want to learn them. They want everything to be like it was in the city, but cheaper.

As the newcomers began the debate on another Starbucks, Jeb bolted the doors and I poured the gasoline around the old town hall. Time to thin the herd.
